New Mexico

Carlsbad Caverns National Park is a must see, located in the Guadalupe Mountains in South East New Mexico. Its big room cavern is 7th largest cavern in the world.

A short drive from Carlsbad is the town of Rowell, made famous by the 1947 UFO incident. The UFO museum is worth a visit.

We stopped here on the way to Albuquerque and headed for a place called Riverbend Hot Springs. Set on the banks of the Rio Grande you can enjoy the natural 105-106 degres springs.

Albuquerque was our 2nd base in New Mexico for a few days.

A short drive from Albuquerque is the town of Jemez and the very picturesque highway 4 which loops west from the I25 just north of Bernalillo
